Oh my goodness, this was 12 years ago back in Rajasthan, India. We had already heard about this wonderful animal hospital called TOLFA (the Tree of Life for Animals) from a friend who was making clothes for us, and he suggested that we sponsored a kennel every year. We could choose which area it was to be in, canine or feline, from recuperation to isolation or puppies (!), a tough decision because they're all so important. In the end canine recuperation it was, and we chose the words ‘Helping make little lives a lot better’ that now hang above the door.

We get regular updates from the team about which dog has been helped in our kennel, we love receiving them and know our sponsorship really helps.

It's not always easy to pick the right shirt size for yourself, so to help you get it right we thought we'd do a little guide.


First, start by measuring your chest all the way around, and use that measurement against the chart. Alternatively, find a shirt that fits you well, measure it from pit to pit, and compare that measurement.

You may notice a few inches difference between your chest measurement and the size of the shirt - that's a little something called ‘easement’ which helps you get the shirt on and off, and make it a relaxed fit.

All our shirts should be washed in a cool machine cycle (30 degrees or less) or hand washed, and then hung up to dry.

We have a no quibble returns policy, so if it's not right just get in touch and we will sort you out with a replacement or a refund.

Too lovely not to share
