Since Hayle’s Outdoor swimming pool’s impressive Glow Up this year, we’ve been itching to make the most of those slides… so when local photographer Emily Stoker Photography approached us to take some shots with her crew at the pool, we were tripping over our inflatables to take her up on it!
It’s open for just another couple of weeks before it closes for the winter, so if you’re a Lido fanatic, we highly recommend a splash 💦

Huuuuuuuge shout out to Laverne Love and her daughter .privx for coming all the way down from Birmingham for our ice cream shoot!
I saw Laverne at Mazey Day at the rocks wearing one of our swimsuits and thought she looked amazing 🔥so I asked her to come back for a shoot sometime - little did I know she lived sooooo far away AND would bring her talented daughter for the ride.
We just loved having them, and dynamic on the shoot between them was just so special 💕

💜 🦢 NEW DESIGN 🦢💜
We had great fun photographing our new swan design at Lakeside Cafe today in the last days of the August sun ☀️
Bella agreed to be our model with an hours notice and was so completely amazing it’s difficult to pick the ‘best’ photos to share with you - but these are my favourites.
If you’ve never been on a swan pedalo, I highly recommend it, we had so much fun. Plus, we found out Bella is a pro at a 3 point turn ✌️
Big thanks also to m’lady elley who motivated me to make it happen 💪 😘

How completely adorable is this photo ❤️‍🔥?!
Sent to us by Brazilian who lives in Ireland but was visiting Penzance a few weeks back. We met in the shop when she was getting herself and her ‘mini-me’ both heart swimming costumes ❤️
We ADORE this collage (with her dog Nala popped in there too! 🥰) xx

It seems amazing that in our 5 years we’ve never done a studio shoot! Obviously being right next to the sea, we tend to just frolic around the beach… however, when the lovely Maddie from My Place PZ | Self-Portrait Studio & Events Cornwall opened a selfie-studio around the corner from our shop, the temptation was just too much and we got ‘in there like swimwear’ with our NEW ice cream design.
The next day, Maddie sent over our 450 photos (😱) needless to say I’m still choosing my faves, but these ones of Laverne Love and Shiela ad libbing made me laugh as they just sum up how much sugar they had consumed by this point 🍦

NWE: New Window Energy 🍦🦈 🏊

I had fun creating a refresh of our shop window today - never quite comes out how it looked ‘in my head’; Gloria the mannequin lying down doesn’t look quite as relaxed at I’d hoped 😂🙈 she gonna get one hella neck ache 😜
So she’s chilling out on her ice cream pool float eating her ice cream and Sharkie pops up…

Serving you a Penzance summer with a size of ice cream 🍦
If you’re a frequent visitor to Penzance Prom, you will know Sally and her ice cream van.
When launching our new ice cream print we HAD to stop by her van for an ice cream and she’s such a legend, she let us take over! As you can imagine, we had a blast.

How was your eclipse 🌙 ?

We spent ours at Godrevy along with 367485638 others. It was a true moment - we had the glasses, which, placed over the iPhone camera meant we could get some average photos of the event 🤓

The true stars of course were elley and her family 🍋💙
Elley works in the shop on Tuesdays and Thursdays… you’ll be seeing more of her on here trust me 😉 ###
