🤍 Harvesting Colostrum 🤍
Colostrum is your baby’s first milk — thick, golden, and packed with antibodies and nutrients. Some parents choose to harvest colostrum in late pregnancy (usually after 36–37 weeks, with healthcare approval) to store for after birth.

This can be especially helpful for parents with gestational diabetes, as babies may be at higher risk of low blood sugars after delivery. Having stored colostrum ready can support early feeds and help stabilize your baby’s blood glucose levels.

A few drops may not look like much, but colostrum is powerful 💪✨

Always check with your midwife or healthcare provider before starting.
