Hey everyone! I’m back!

It’s almost been two years now since I last left the alterations shop to do my usual day job of Costume Design for Theatre and Film. It’s been a busy busy time but I’m ready to take on some
stitching jobs closer to home again in order to spend some more time with my family.

Please feel free to get intouch if you are looking to have anything altered. I will be introducing a price list very soon. My services include pick up and delivery as well as fittings should you need it (at a small extra cost).

Today’s holey-moley coverage has become an awesome statement motif.
I knew my cool client would LOVE this abstract flower I had in my stock - instead of a regular patch job we’ve made it look like a cool brand.

Sorry for the radio silence! I’ve been extra busy finishing off orders before the 5th March deadline (that’s when I become ‘less available’ for alterations and the likes!) Thanks so much for your mask orders! Bloody love making those! These are a selected few that have made their way to their new wearers this week. I will be restocking this weekend 🕺🏽 So keep your eyes peeled! 👀

ANNOUNCEMENT...
Due to other work commitments, my last day to take any alterations work will be next Friday (5th March).
Masks will still be available to buy from , I shall be restocking every fortnight.🕺🏽If you’ve ordered masks from me already they’ll be on there way to you soon.

Today’s been a massively colourful day! 🌈 I’ll be delivering these babies back to their owner tomorrow. I shortened two amazing pinafore dresses and one floral cute summery skirt. My wonderful customer also purchased two Origami masks in Jungle Nights print. 💕

Today’s challenge... to patch a burn hole in a sofa for a client. Sometimes my job is so satisfying when I can try help fix an unsightly accident. The client’s son had spilled some coffee on the sofa then tried to dye it off with a hair dryer results in a massive burn hole. I took a small piece of fabric from the underside of the sofa and hand stitched the patch over the hole. Lucky thing about textured fabric on sofas is they hide a multitude of sins and also you can camouflage a patch pretty well. See before and after. Very pleased and so was my customer 🙂
