A bit about me- I work as a therapy assistant in a Poole School for children with Disabilities (I have the best job in the world) I also work in Supported living supporting two lads as a Support worker.. Why am I telling you this? I'm letting you into the reason why I have set up this page selling costumes that have mainly been designed for wheelchair users. Working in this environment you realise
how penalised individuals/ families are when it comes to things being appropriate for them or their loved ones because if you mentioned the word adapted the price tends to double :( I also know that you need to have access to tummys alot of the time due to gastrostomies/ jejunostomies and other reasons and it's just not practical for wheelchair users to wear shop bought dressing up clothes this is why I've creating an affordable range of products from costumes to sensory cushions and much more. This does not mean that other individuals can't use my costumes they just include everyone and are suitable for all.. I love making and creating I took GCSE Textiles and achieved an A grade, this has given me a great footing to be able to create and make textiles products.. The costumes I make I have designed. Please have a look at the photos of costumes I have made so far in my albums but feel free to suggest ideas and I can try and make them for you. The price will vary by the product and design :)
