This time last weekend my beautiful twin sister got hitched and it was the most wonderful day ever! 💕

You may have noticed things have been a little quiet over here the last month or two as I’ve been using every spare ounce of time to help plan, prep, craft and make as many bits as possible for the big day! I even managed to sneak in a ‘just peachy’ scrunchy band into the day 🙊

Today is Earth day and this year’s theme is 🌍

Now more than ever we need to do our bit to ensure our beautiful planet is still here for generations to come!

‘As an individual, you yield real power and influence as a consumer, a voter, and a member of a community that can unite for change.Don’t underestimate your power’ 🙌🏻

Inspired by I’d love to know what small actions you are taking to be more earth concious?👇🏻

Here are just a few things I like to do:

🌱Conscious & Ethical consumption - shop small and independent or from charity shops where possible to ensure I know where and how what I’m buying is made and to reduce over production
🌱Walk & cycle as much as possible
🌱Re-use & recycle packaging
🌱Use solid soaps 🧼
🌱Refillable cleaning products
🌱Veg box to reduce waste & limit plastic
🌱Always carry a Re-usable water bottle
🌱Packed lunches to avoid on the hoof plastic
🌱Recycled loo roll
🌱Get involved & take action- clean ups and signing petitions!

This list is by no means extensive and I’m aware we aren’t all in a financial position to make sustainable choices all the time, but I’d love to hear what small act you might be taking to help save our planet?

Let’s talk C O L O U R 🍭

As many of you know I’m a sucker for a bright colour and clashing prints and will regularly wear a bold or statement colour to lift or shift my mood. I’m not afraid of mixing things up and love the buzz I get when I decide to go bold!

I am however aware not everyone feels comfortable wearing colour or bold prints, so I try to keep a bit of a balance of the fabrics I pick so that there is something (I hope)to suit all tastes 😊
