Due to several technical malfunctions I am about ready to tear my hair out. Dryer refuses to cooperate so drying fabric with a hairdryer and my sewing machine refuse to work. This week is of too a great start! :D Doll will be delayed as I'll have to rely on my hand stitching which is a lot slower than the machine.

Day one of doll week, rough idea of what will be made, templates are cut and I'm off to bury myself in fabric.

I have decided that next week is Doll Week, a new doll designed and (hopefully) made each day. Looking forward to the challenge!

We did really well yesterday at the Guisborough winter market, thank you to everyone who came out and supported local business!
Working hard now to restock for Whitby this coming week.

Just a reminder that the Guisborough winter market will be taking place this Friday and Saturday.
I will be holding a stall on Saturday from 10am - 6pm with lots of gift ideas and stocking fillers including some awesome new cushions. I hope to see you there!

Just a quick update as I have not posted for ages.
Two of my dolls, Miss Eyrie and Red, are currently part of the winter exhibition at the Palace Hub Gallery in Redcar. There are many amazing and diverse pieces of art and its well worth a visit.
I am busy working towards several Christmas markets at the moment such as the Guisborough market at the end of November and the Whitby market the week after.
My owl badges are now also available from the Sky Blue Red Studio in Guisborough along with other handmade products from local crafters and you can also rest your feet and have a nice cup of tea while you are there.

There is not a lot on it at the moment but check back as I will be updating often.

I am currently working away feverishly on a new collection of textile art dolls which should (hopefully) be ready within the next week. The designs have been drawn and cut, I am currently waiting on fray stop to dry and then I will probably be spending tomorrow turning fingers inside out. I have one...
