I’ve been making a start on sewing for the Reusables collection ♻️
First up I’ve made 2 sets of reusable kitchen towels; ideal for mopping up spills, cleaning down surfaces and then chucking in the wash to be used over and over again!

I love how bright these prints are too - who says kitchen towels have to be plain 🤩

Added something a bit different to the website; Sensory fiddle keyrings!

The soft silicone beads can be gently squeezed to provide some sensory input. They’re also great for grounding yourself slightly when you’re a bit anxious.
I’ve added mine to my keys as when I’m on the school run I can feel so anxious sometimes - moving the beads around just gives me something different to focus on.

I always aim to keep everything affordable 🙌
Not because I’m trying to undercut others, or because I don’t value my time - it’s because I know what it’s like when you’re on maternity leave, or short of money and still want to buy some cute goodies for your little one, or yourself and not be able to!

That’s why it’s important to me to keep my prices as low as possible, but also to have some cheeky discounts on things too 💕

Here’s a little peek of the project I was working on a few days ago.
A few years ago I’d made a couple of peg bags and while they were ok, I hadn’t properly lined them because I was just figuring out how to make them.

This one is fully lined and interfaced which means it’ll hold its shape better and hopefully last a lot longer, too!

It’s now been sent to its new home 🏡

I might make a few and add them to the website in the future!

❣️Looking for recommendations 🤞
After replacing my iron last month, my new one has now broken 🤯 the heat dial just spins so I have no idea what heat setting it’s on & it’s also tripped the fuse box a few times!

Before I go ahead and buy a new one, does anyone have any recommendations?

I’ve spent today working on a sewing project that I *might* end up adding to the shop in the future, I haven’t decided yet 😅 While I’ve been sewing I’ve been having a think about whether I want to be adding things to the website as and when, or if I want to do more of a bigger update every so often, where I’ll add everything at once.

I think I’ve decided that for now it’ll work better for me to just add things as and when, which will mean a few new items here and there, every so often! I hope that makes sense 🤞

With that being said, I’ve just added scrunchies in 2 Liberty prints and a matching wristlet keyring is available in the Liberty blue fabric too 😍

🥳 I just want to say a massive THANK YOU to everyone who’s placed an order, visited the website, and of course to everyone who’s following the journey, and liking and sharing along the way, too! 💜

I did open the website and just run away from my phone slightly last night - partly because of doing the back to school prep ready for today, but also because in the last 5 minutes before opening I noticed a few errors and my mind went completely blank as to how to fix them (I got there in the end) 😅

This week I’m hoping to figure out some new patterns for some of the ideas I have, and I’ll be working on cutting up some more fabric from preloved clothing for the upcycled collection ♻️
