I make cute, colourful and quirky handmade gifts with comics, Lego and crochet 🧶🦸🏻‍♀️ I believe in having products that are unique and a little different.

Handmade Moments are a small independent company based in the west of Scotland. I believe in the handmade and the handcrafted and all the love that goes into making a piece from scratch. I design and make all our products using resources around me. I use vintage buttons, some of which are older than me! I use scraps of fabric I have accumulated over the years as well as fabrics I find at vintage a

nd craft fairs around Glasgow. Other materials are sourced from mainly Scottish independent companies, but always from UK companies.

Helloo, thanks to Arrochar Crafts for a lovely fair on Saturday in Luss. I managed to have a wee wander along the beach and have a wee paddle in the Loch too. Treated myself to this lovely wee bracelet from cresincrafts and there were lots of doggy cuddles! These three were definitely my favourites of the day 😁
My next fair is this Saturday with Scottish Arts & Crafts Fair in Beith, and I'll be there with the lovely Tee too 😍

Helloo, I'm all packed and ready to go for tomorrow's fair with Arrochar Crafts in Luss 😊 these new spuds will be travelling with me tomorrow too 🥔🥔🥔
I'll be in the village hall between 10am and 3pm and I'll have my lovely assistant (and chauffeur!) Morag Coutts with me too 😁

Helloo! This is the last week of the challenge, and I'm happy to say I've smashed it. I'm currently on 47 miles for the month which considering my chronic hip pain flared up just before the start, I'm quite happy about!

Good morning!
It's been a busy weekend with a crafty meet up on Saturday (including the handsome Archie) followed by a pizza filled gathering at a friend's house 🍕🍕
Sunday was Mr HM and I's wedding anniversary 🥰 18 years!
It's a lovely sunny day here at the moment and I'm busy working on frames before my office gets too warm. I finished these Ghostbusters and Star Wars frames last week and both feature original comics/books from the 80s when the films were released. These frames plus others will.be available at Arrochar Crafts fair in Luss on Saturday 29th between 10am and 3pm 😊

Helloo! Just realised I forgot to give you the weekly update from last week's Diabetes UK . The 9 miles on Friday chasing Maggie’s Scotties in the City certainly helped towards that total!
I'm currently working away in my office on new stock for Arrochar Crafts fair in Luss and Scottish Arts & Crafts Fair in Beith in a couple of weeks. I'll have these lovely crochet items with me too 😊

Helloo, hope you're all having a lovely weekend 😊 I spent Friday and yesterday capturing the remaining large Scottie Dogs (40 in total) in the Maggie’s Scotties in the City for Maggie's Glasgow. Here are some of the highlights from the city centre and Glasgow parks and finishing up at Victoria Park with an ice cream 🍦
I didn't realise there was a pipe band competition in Glasgow Green on Friday so I got a security es**rt to the Scottie that was behind the barrier, and the lovely security guy even took my photo with it. Thankfully the other one at Glasgow Green, at the People's Palace, the Tunnock’s one by my friend Rebecca Johnstone, didn't require an es**rt 🤣
I loved the one at House for an Art Lover and it was lovely to see a wedding taking place while I was there too, almost exactly 18 years after Mr HM and I were married there (our anniversary is in a few days) 🥰

Helloo! It's been a week of sorting and admin work so far, but I'll soon be getting organised for my next fairs coming up at the end of the month. First up, I'm back at Luss Village Hall with Arrochar Crafts on Saturday 29th August, a lovely wee venue within a gorgeous wee village on the banks of Loch Lomond. The following week I'll be back at Geilsland Estate with Scottish Arts & Crafts Fair celebrating their 21st birthday on Saturday 5th September! The guys don't look a day over 20! 😉
As I mentioned in a previous post, I love street art and Mr HM sent me this photo yesterday on his walk to work of the completed piece we saw being worked on last Friday 😍
