Meet Ginger! 🦊

He’s a little fox illustration I did this summer as practice for a larger commission. I thoroughly enjoyed drawing him, and am excited to see him come to life on a larger scale now!

My question for you is… he needs another friend! Which animal shall I pair him with? I can’t decide! Bird or animal?

After not posting much at all during the summer, September 1st seems like a good time to try and get back into it… does anyone else feel the same?!

I do love the “ber” months though (my husband disagrees, he is not an autumn/winter person at all!).

I’m really looking forward to some September harvest, lots of autumnal drawings, and definitely the return of the autumn and winter migratory birds. Oh, and definitely autumn jumpers!

What are you looking forward to (or not?! My “not” is the return of muddy dog paws…)? Do share below - it will help me know if my lack of recent posting has made me invisible 😂

I’m so delighted that all mug designs are now back in stock!

And do you know what… if you love a flat white, they are the absolute perfect size for that! I’ve been enjoying putting a mug under our espresso machine, whizzing up some lovely oat milk, and creating a perfect coffee!

A cup of tea, coloured pencils, and… puffins! Could there be a more perfect afternoon?!

I’d love to invite you to my next coloured pencil workshop, all about puffins, held in York on Saturday 15th August.

From initial outline, to layering down colours, blending, and creating realistic details, I’ll guide you through step by step. You can even be a complete beginner (yes, really!), or someone with a little more experience who would like to learn some more techniques.

With plenty of tea, coffee and homemade cake, it’s the perfect afternoon to do something for YOU, and enjoy a little creativity this summer.
