We're looking for four fresh faces for our apprenticeship programme! The ranger service is looking to host two apprentices in partnership with the Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust and we are looking for a business administration and media officer apprentice who will study for a journalism diploma.

Charlotte Mudd from Wensleydale (pictured), recently went from an apprentice to being appointed to a full-time role with our Communications Team.

🗨️ She said “I would highly recommend an apprenticeship here. Alongside gaining essential experience that employers are looking for, you learn a lot by being around and meeting knowledgeable people and getting an insight into the available opportunities. I would really encourage people to apply for the new roles, especially those with an interest in the area and the natural environment.”

It takes the total number of apprenticeships offered in the last five years to 25.

I have a large collection of knitting patterns individual patterns and books from the 50’s 60’s 70’s 80’s and 90’s these include toys, babies, children and adults I’m looking to sell them either as a job lot, individual or in bundles.

Tomorrow 6th March is the Knit-a-Thon to raise money for Arthritis.
I am holding a virtual knit-a-thon from 2-5pm, drop in to knit or for a chat.
I will be making chocolate egg cosies and all who donate on my funding page will receive a chocolate egg with cosy in time for Easter
