Firstly....It's been a while Guys! Hope you're all doing well and haven't been too badly affected by all the craziness in recent months.
As shops start to reopen from the 15th June, we thought it important to share with you how we plan to proceed and why.
Whilst the government are supposedly looking out for the greater good, we thought it increasingly prudent to make our own decisions on how we get our business through these unusual times. With Boris swiftly trying to eradicate the 2m rule when it was clear that noone wanted to socially distance anyway (at least from our own experience in stores), we fear that if this happens it will only serve to exacerbate the situation and we would rather be a little more cautious, as thankfully we are in a position to be able to do so.
Being such a small store and with the need to quarantine each item of clothing/helmets etc that have been tried on for three days, in essence one customer who is a new rider could render the store over 50% quarantined for three days just by trying on two sizes in two different styles from gloves, jackets etc. And if the doors are open for more than two people at a time to shop and browse then it will become impossible to manage the quarantining of clothing.

With this and other factors considered, we have decided to continue with the appointment only service. This will allow our customers to take the time they need to try what they want and enable us to quarantine everything they try on or come in contact with. It will also enable us to better manage the quarantined stock and arrange appointments based on any specific items customers may be looking to purchase. For example if a customer is trying on just jackets and another customer is only really looking for jeans then we can manage the quarantine process more efficiently.
Ultimately whilst it's important for the economy to restart it's up to us to manage how we do this with the least possible risk to the health of our customers, our friends, families and ourselves.
