Block printing with acrylics on paper with background painted with Indian dye. Scanned, cut and pasted in Photoshop to create a collage. This print is from a stash of my printed papers collected over the years and put away until a project comes up and you find a use for it…🥰

There’s something about silk fabric! A few years ago I made this dress (and the buttons) from custom printed silk satin with my design and it still brings joy to my life. I’m thinking I might transform it into a top so I can use it more. Love the feel of silk 🥰

LOOKING BACK… This was one of the first repeat patterns I created. The starting point was a drawing of a leaf from a rose which is the basis this design. I love the soft greens and the warm oranges bursting from the surface. As always with Photoshop its fun to play with the limitless colour choices so I can never resist to see how different colours combine together! 🥰

SPRING IN BLOOM! Colourful spring flowers brighten the day with this slightly whimsical pattern. The flowers have been simplified with the focus more on form than detail. 🥰

Great bank holiday weekend at our first ever event showcasing our work! We were in a beautiful location at St Peter’s church and had lots of visitors over the two days we were there. If you missed the festival this short video highlights what was on display; lots of new products printed with our designs and also Piera’s beautiful dress as well as a stitched cushion I made from an old wool blanket. A big thank you to everyone who came to visit it was great chatting to all you lovely people! 🥰🥰🥰🥰

SIMPLE LINES! Inspired by a block print of one simple line then built up to create this design of an alternative check print. The use of different colours helps to build up and define the pattern. Changing the colours could turn this into something completely different. Working digitally really offers unlimited possibilities for experimentation my favourite thing!

We will be exhibiting at the St Albans Visual Arts Festival Sat 3 and Sunday 4 May 11-4pm in St Peter’s church St Albans. Maybe see you there 🥰

NEW DESIGNS! Green keeps coming back and it’s inspired this geometric pattern combining diamond shapes and zigzag. We’re thinking of producing this pattern in different colours what do you think, any colour suggestions? We like mixing and matching and this range can be coordinated with the leaf pattern from our Lyla design.

We’re getting ready for the SAVAF (St Albans Visual Arts Festival) coming up May bank holiday weekend and we’ll have lots to show on our stand. Hope to see you there! 🥰
