Hi guys.

I hope you all had an amazing Easter.

I will soon be introducing leather shoe dying and colour changes to my branch.

If you have an old pair of shoes you think you would like to bring back to life, pop them in and I can see what I can do for you. Colours are restricted but I’m more than happy to look in to options for you.

I can also repair some scuff markings as well, depending on how severe the scuff is, it doesn’t have to be a full colour change.

Here is one shoe I changed from a mid tan to a black.

I will also be testing suede colour dying in the mean time so stay tuned.

Pop in guys anything is always worth an ask, it’s surprising what we can actually do here even if it’s not on our website or on our price lists.

I am now repairing a wide variety of doc marten soles in branch. These are 2 pairs I have sorted in the past week and both customers were more than happy with the outcome.

These used to have to be sent to our shoe repair workshop with a little bit of a wait time.

I can now order these soles in and repair the majority of soles in branch and cut out the wait time.

Now normally I do take a before photo of all the work I do but I was a little busy at the time.

When these first came in, the lady thought these were beyond repair. The heel had worn right down and the soles had nothing left on them.

I ended up bringing these back to life by doing a full new sole and then a half sole and heel on top to give a little bit of grip.

If you think your shoes are ready for the bin, bring them in. It surprising what we can do to save you having to buy a new pair and having to wear them in.

Being a massive gamer myself, there is nothing worse than when your thumb sticks do this…

I personally used to buy the caps you put on top of the thumb sticks but they never felt right and felt too bulky.

We can change just the thumb sticks if they are completely worn 1 for £10 or both of them for £15

Or if you have stick drift and you think you need a new controller, don’t pay £70+ for a new controller, I can fix stick drift by replacing the whole thumb stick 1 for 30 or both for £50.

A lady recently brought a pair of these heels in expecting me to say these were not fixable and she would have to buy another pair.

I always say to my customers, it’s always worth an ask. Even if you think something can’t be done, it’s more suprising how little we cant do at Timpsons

I ended up replacing the whole half of her soles to make them look brand new again. The lady couldn’t believe it and walked away more than happy.

An old 2011 Vauxhall combo EX post office van. Customer was only given what looks like a remote but had nothing in it so it would only manually open the van and start the engine. He didn’t think we could do a remote key for these vans.

Took a bit of doing but managed to get a whole new remote key so he can now use his central locking and set the alarm.

Another happy customer.
