I am so looking forward to my forthcoming exhibition at Waterperry Gardens Wheatley near Oxford 10-12th July OX33 1LA . A combined event of Desire jewellery and silversmithing and Celebrating Ceramics with 200 of the best in the world exhibitors across adjacent lawns. Book by midnight on Saturday 13th June and save on admission. Enjoy demonstrations, music across 2 stages and a great selection of food and drink as well as a real feast for the eye in creativity in metals and clay. Not forgetting the stunning gardens.

My talk on my career went well and some lovely clients collected these 2 rings to celebrate a special anniversary and their family.

From 3-9th June I will be exhibiting my full range at Shaftesbury Arts Centre 10-5pm daily Bell Street SP7 8AR part of Dorset Art Weeks.

I am exhibiting with plein air artist Nick Andrew and Tanya Hinton wildlife artist on reclaimed wood.

My first exhibition of the year is in Dorset Art Weeks 2026. In the first week I am giving a talk on my unusual career journey with my tools for anticlastic raising and a taster exhibition at Hinton Workspace. In week 2 but 3-9th June I am exhibiting at Shaftesbury Arts Centre with Nick Andrew and Tanya Hinton. Hope to see you at either or both events x

Just back from a great week playing tennis in the sun in Crete with Active Away. Great coaching, fun company, old and new friends. A good time had by all x but back to the cold, wind and rain and preparations for Dorset Art Weeks!!

I have been quiet here for a while but I have been busy working on some special anniversary commissions. These pictures show work in progress creating this rather lovely 18ct yellow gold, sapphire and diamond pendant. The sheet metal is formed by chasing and the settings and swirls and fabricated, keeping it light as possible. It was for a lovely couple I have made gifts for for years. It’s so nice how clients become friends and you get to meet their families and share their big celebrations.
My next exhibition will be in the second week of Dorset Art Weeks, at Venue 10 Shaftesbury Arts Centre . In the first week I will be giving an illustrated talk on 28th May on my unusual career journey and a preview exhibition at Hinton Workspace.

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching. It’s not all about rings! Here are some of my heart inspired pieces to give to the love in your life and celebrate xx.

Valentine’s Day is fast approaching, but it is a brave person today who proposes to their partner with a ring without involving them in choosing or commissioning it. I delight in working with couples on their journey either choosing from stock or a commission. I do like to start with a principle stone of your choice and let the design flow from there. Frequently I highlight the contours of the design with a trail of graduating fine diamonds. It is important to consider how a wedding ring will fit against it when not a straight edge, but it can always be a stand alone ring. DM me for details. 💍 ❤️

I do enjoy working in white metal, be it platinum, white gold or silver. All set off white diamonds well and are suitably malleable for anticlastic raising. Sometimes I combine white and yellow metal and coloured diamonds as often it helps to draw the colour of the gemstones I use, like opals.

In 2025 I created a range of lovely commissions for some special clients. I really do appreciate the continued support from my customers and faithful followers.

In 2026 I hope to continue to design and make more bespoke works of art showing my range of techniques. May there be peace to help reduce the price of gold , my favorite precious metal.
