How cute are these new fabrics? πŸ₯°

Now that I’m starting to feel better and more like myself, the turbanista is back. Firstly can I just say a massive thank you to Jane & John for donating the money for me to buy this beautiful fabric πŸ’– which was from a lovely shop on Abbeydale Road called Annie’s!

These turbans are for the childrens chemo ward at the Sheffield Children’s Hospital. I’m just talking to the hospital at the moment to see if they will let me go on to the ward to give them out personally. I’ve said i’ll do a PCR to prove that I’m free of covid.

It would mean the world to me if they allow it so please everyone keep your fingers crossed 🀞🏼 for me.

It’s officially been confirmed πŸ₯°πŸ™ŒπŸ½πŸ₯³

Western Park Chemo Day Unit have asked us to supply the ward with our Turbans πŸ’—πŸ’—πŸ’— ( Us - being myself and my mum who helps me to make these beautiful creations)

This is probably one of the proudest moments of my life!!!!!

When I found out I had Breast Cancer and that I’d have to have chemotherapy, the first thing that went through my mind was OMG I’m going to be πŸ‘©πŸΌβ€πŸ¦² and after doing lots of googling and researching, I soon realised that there just wasn’t any glamourous headwear for ladies like myself going through chemo or suffering with Alopecia.

We decided that just simply wasn’t good enough, there’s no reason why us baldies can’t look glamourous as well.

That’s when Crown Yourself Boutique was born πŸ‘‘

Yes I’ve got wigs, beautiful wigs but because the chemo has side effects of hot flushes the wigs just make me so hot πŸ₯΅ I mean ridiculously hot, so Turbans are my go to headwear now.

I can’t wait to show you what we’ve been making and I can’t wait to see our headwear on the ward in western park!

Let me introduce myself, I'm Natalie the face behind Crown Yourself Boutique.
At 39 unfortunately I got diagnosed with breast cancer. And one of the worst things for me personally was the thought of having to have chemotherapy πŸ‘©πŸΌβ€πŸ¦² My whole world ended at the thought of having no hair. As someone who always had long hair and used to have it blow dried twice a week. I was completely devastated but after I'd got my head around my hair loss I started looking at what was out there and discovered there wasn't really any glamourous headwear for ladies like my self going through chemotherapy or ladies suffering with alopecea.

That's when Crown Yourself was born.

I used to go to the hospital for chemo and sit in the waiting room surrounded by all these amazing ladies and gentlemen waiting to have there chemo and it just got me thinking. There's absolutely no reason why you can't still look fabulous even if you have no hair, so that's when i set out on a mission to bring the glamour πŸ–€πŸ’—πŸ€
