Hello you lovely people.
Thought I'd best pop and and say hi and give you a little life update as Facebook has just kindly informed me its been 72 days since my last post! 😮
Starting with the latest, i'm just nearing the end of a weeks long migraine which hasn't been fun, I don't have these week long ones very often but when I do, boy do they knock me for six. 🤮
House update, we're all packed up once again, our clothes are in plastic boxes and my sewing room is non habitable as we're just about to have the whole upstairs (2 bedrooms) 🙄 fully replastered and our staircase and hallway. Its just a pain at the moment but will be worth it when its all done. Just having to contend with having to start sleeping downstairs as packing both rooms into one as each one gets done, its all fun and games 🙃 this time next year we'll look back and laugh at all this.
So until all that is done and the rooms have been decorated, (my sewing room is to be done first) 😁, I've had to bring all my essentials downstairs and work from my kitchen table.
I do have keepsakes to create but anyone that is thinking of placing an order and can wait until I'm back in my sewing room that would be greatly appreciated.
I'm a creature of habit and neatness and like everything to have a place and everything be in its place so the way we are living at the moment is like having an itch that I can't scratch. 😬

Just recently, I created some wonderful keepsakes for a lovely lady and her family to remember her much loved brother.
Its such an honour when people put their trust in me to create keepsakes for them from their treasured items of clothing.
3 Calico bears, Gregory Gorilla, Mary the Elephant and 4 hanging hearts were made from his t shirts. Incorporating as much as I could in respect of logos, labels and graphics.
All I ever hope is that these give a little ounce of comfort. ❤️

Good evening to all you lovely people. I thought we'd have a little catch up.
I know its been a while but moving and downsizing has got to be one of the most strenuous things you can do. The amount of stuff I've sold or thrown out is ridiculous and its still on going.
We still haven't moved everything from our old house for various reasons, one being is that we have limited room and the bedrooms and staircase are all going to be replastered, so until that is done we're a little stuck. 😮
At least I have my sewing room set up until it's time for the plastering to commence. 🙄
Meanwhile I have also been kept busy with your beautiful keepsakes. ( I do apologise that I didn't announce that I was back up and running). 😬

Good evening everyone, hope you're all well?
Just a little heads up that unfortunately I am having to close for a few weeks due to moving.
We have a moving date and my sewing room will be getting emptied next week ready to move. So I am currently creating my last keepsake before I pack up.
I am hoping to be back up and running as quickly as possible.
I will of course keep you all in the loop as when that will be.

Hope everyone is having a good evening.
I can now share the keepsake bear that I created for a lovely friend of mine.
It's the Winston Bear complete with my own design flat cap and removable shirt collar.
Sometimes the least clothing that is used is the more effective, I love just 2 combinations of clothing that blend together really nicely and this was created using just 2 of her beloved dad's shirts. ❤️

Good evening everyone, I hope you're all keeping well despite the horrible rainy weather. I'm currently cosied up on the settee in front of a lovely warm fire and looking forward to a home made chicken curry for tea. 😊
I've just popped on to share one of my latest creations. A few months ago, 2 of my childhood friends sadly lost their dad. I had the honour of creating an elephant for one of my friends as a surprise for her birthday. Over the past 2 weeks (along with every day stuff) I have again had the honour of creating 2 bears, one of which was for my friend (which I can't show yet until she's received it ) and one for his grand daughter. Flat caps were requested for both of them which I designed myself and which are fully lined.
This is the Melody Bear and the pattern is from Funky Friends Factory 😊

Good afternoon you lovely lot, hope you're all well?
We're fast approaching the end of October and this is where I normally start to get busy plus on top of that we've decided to move so that will be quite the experience right before christmas. We don't opt for the easy life!! 😬
Anyhow, I thought I'd show the bear that I created the week after I returned from my holiday as its now been collected.
This is the Calico Bear and the pattern is from Funky Friends Factory
If it looks familiar, I did create one using the same clothing a few months ago for the same person but this was gifted to a different family member.

Good morning (just) you lovely people. After catching up on oodles of washing after a much needed holiday it was time for me to get back into my sewing room to create a Calico Bear for someone. However, I can't post it yet until the owner has received it. 😊
Things are a little quiet at the moment which I always know at this time of the year is the calm before the storm so am taking the opportunity to get all the ironing out of the way (yes, I still do ironing) while I can.
The week end is looming so I hope you all have a great one. 😘
