For a long time, I thought growth had to look bigger, bigger spaces, bigger plans, bigger overheads and bigger pressure. But over the last few years, I’ve realised that growth can also look like slowing down, simplifying, and building a life that actually works for you. ❤️
Big Wild Thought started in our bedroom back in 2017 with one embroidery machine and a tiny packing bench. Since then, we’ve worked from small units, a huge warehouse, a studio space, closed the website, reopened it again, and learned a lot along the way. And now in 2026, we’re bringing it back home. 🫶
Not because we’re going backwards, but because life looks very different now. I’m a mum, I have another baby on the way, and my priorities have changed. Success to me now looks like balance and being present. Creating a business that supports our life instead of consuming it. 🥰
I think there’s so much pressure online to constantly scale and expand, but sometimes the bravest decision you can make is choosing what genuinely makes sense for you. 💕
This feels less like starting over and more like a full circle moment 🤍
