❤️🩵𝙄𝙩’𝙨 𝙛𝙞𝙣𝙞𝙨𝙝𝙚𝙙...🩵❤️
After lots of granny circles, joining and many happy hours on the hook, my Poppy Blanket is finally finished 🥹✨
This one has been such a special project to make and I've loved watching it grow from a handful of circles into a finished blanket ❤️🩵
The sparkle from the Universe yarn catches the light beautifully and I couldn't be happier with how it turned out 😍✨
Now that this one is finished, I'm back working on my Bobbling Around Blanket using Festival yarn in Strawberry Fields 🍓🌈
But first... it's Prom Day for Emily! 💗✨
I'm so excited to see her in her dress later and I have a feeling there might be a few tears 🥹💕

🌈✨ 𝑻𝒉𝒓𝒐𝒘𝒃𝒂𝒄𝒌 𝒕𝒐 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟐! ✨🌈
While looking through some old photos recently, I came across these blankets and realised I haven't shared them for years! 😍
Back in 2022 I was invited to design an entire collection of blankets for Yarn and Colors and looking back now, I still can't quite believe I created all five of them! 🧶✨
Each blanket uses simple stitches and techniques, but with a bold graphic twist and plenty of colour 🌈
Seeing these photos again has reminded me how much I enjoyed stepping outside my comfort zone and creating something a little different. Looking back through old designs is always a good reminder of how far we've come 😊
I think my favourite is still the Staggered Stripes Blanket... although it changes every time I look at them! 😂

🌈✨ 𝑴𝒂𝒈𝒊𝒄 𝒐𝒓 𝒄𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒉𝒆𝒕? ✨🌈
Before I start, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for all your lovely messages and kindness on my post the other day. Life can be cruel sometimes, but your support really does mean a lot 💜
This is one of those projects that never gets old 😍
The first bag looks ridiculously large... but that's exactly how it's supposed to be! 🧶
After felting, the stitches blend together and the bag transforms into a dense, sturdy fabric that's perfect for everyday use ✨
With the launch of the new Woolly Wool, it reminded me of this pattern and how much I enjoyed making it. The yarn is suitable for felting, making it a great option if you'd like to make your own felted bag 🩷

❤️🩵𝘽𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙝𝙤𝙤𝙠...🩵❤️
I haven't picked up my hook for a few days. Life can be so cruel sometimes 😢
This week has been a reminder to hold your loved ones a little tighter and make the most of every day 💗
Yesterday I finally sat down with a cuppa alongside Katie while she worked on her cross stitch and it was just what I needed 🫶✨
I've loved having her home from uni and it was so nice to spend a few quiet hours crafting together ❤️
I caught up on my temperature blanket and finally finished joining my Poppy Blanket too 🧶✨
These granny circles are slowly growing and I'm loving how the colours are coming together 😍

🌸🫶🩷 𝗬𝗮𝘆... 𝗮𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗯𝗹𝗮𝗻𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝘂𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲! 🩷🫶🌸
I know you're probably all bored of seeing these posts by now... but here's another update anyway! 😂🧶
And just look at those gorgeous pops of Candyfloss 🩷 and Apricot 🧡 that appeared during May 😍✨
This is definitely my favourite stage so far. The blanket is really starting to come alive with all the warmer colours appearing 🌸💛🧡🩷
I absolutely love watching the story of the year unfold one flower at a time 🌼✨ Every month brings something different and I can't wait to see what colours June has in store for us!
Although, if the weather is anything to go by, we might be heading back to the cooler shades again! 😂☔ June seems to have brought nothing but rain so far 🌧️💙💚

🌈🧶 𝑭𝒓𝒐𝒎 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔... 𝒕𝒐 𝒕𝒉𝒊𝒔! 🧶🌈
Swipe to see the transformation of my Rainbow Stripes Felted Bag 😍
The first photos show the bag before felting and then, with a little bit of magic, it transforms into a dense, sturdy felted fabric that's perfect for bags and accessories ✨
With the launch of the brand new Yarnsmiths from Wool Warehouse Woolly Wool, it reminded me of this pattern and how much I enjoyed making it! 🩷
In fact, I may have accidentally ordered some for myself too... 🙈 At just £1.50 per ball while it's on offer, it would have been rude not to! 😂 I can't wait for it to arrive so I can have a play and see what I can make with it!
I still find the felting process fascinating. One minute it's crochet stitches, the next it's a completely different fabric! 🧶✨

☀️🩷 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐬𝐧𝐞𝐚𝐤 𝐩𝐞𝐞𝐤... 𝐈 𝐩𝐫𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐞! 🩷☀️
These photos were taken when we were away at the caravan enjoying a few days of sunshine ☀️🌊 Fast forward to today and it's grey, rainy and definitely not quite so summery outside! ☔🤣
This is a little peek at the joining on my latest design for and I'm getting so excited to finally be able to share it with you all soon! 🧶✨
I'm using the gorgeous Pebble Haze Prints in Llanbedrog paired with Pebble Haze DK in Marble and I have absolutely loved watching all those beautiful colours come together 🌸🩷🌊
The joining stage is always one of my favourite parts. Seeing all those individual squares finally become a blanket never gets old 😊
