✂️ Upcycling Project Time! ✂️

Tonight I've been cutting up a pair of curtains I picked up from a charity shop for just £1! 🌿💚

I'm hoping to turn them into some envelope-back cushions for our caravan.
I've never made caravan cushions before, so this is definitely an experiment, but I'm excited to give it a go!

I love finding ways to give unwanted items a new lease of life, and lately I've definitely caught the upcycling bug. 😊

Wish me luck, and I'll be sure to share the finished cushions (if they go to plan! 😂).

🐦 Charity Shop Upcycle Project! ♻️

Picked up these little lanterns from a charity shop and decided to give them a new purpose instead of letting them sit on a shelf.
After removing the glass panels, one is now filled with bird seed and the other with a homemade bird fat mix. 🐦

They've just gone up in the garden and I can't wait to see if the birds approve! ❤️💚

I'm already thinking about adding a small wooden perch to the bottom to make them a bit more bird-friendly. What do you think – perch or no perch? 🤔

I absolutely love upcycling. It's amazing how something made for one purpose can be transformed into something completely different.
Not only does it save items from ending up in landfill, but it's also a fun and creative way to give old things a new lease of life.

I think I've officially caught the upcycling bug now! 😅 I'm already looking around for my next project and wondering what else I can rescue, reinvent and give a new purpose to.
Sometimes all it takes is a bit of imagination! ✨

I've finally sorted out a new photo area for listing my items on Vinted, and honestly it's made such a difference! 📸✨

I've been busy uploading some lovely new pieces, and here are just a few of my recent additions.

📢 FREEBIE TIME! 📢

I've been having a little play around with some fabric and have made these reusable face cloths using recycled cotton paired with new towelling fabric. ♻️✨

Me and Joey have been using them ourselves and we absolutely love them! They're super soft, reusable, and a great way to give beautiful fabric a second life. 💚

Now I'd love some honest feedback from others before I make more.
So, I'm looking for 3 people to try one completely FREE and let me know what they think. 😊

🌞 Sunday mornings done right! 🌞

This morning me and Joey headed off to a boot sale, and I honestly love being able to share something I enjoy with him. ❤️

There's something so lovely about wandering around together, hunting for bargains and seeing what treasures we can find.
Joey managed to bag himself some amazing bargains and was absolutely chuffed when a lovely gentleman even gave him a little freebie. 🥰

Watching him get excited over his finds makes it all the more special.

A lovely start to our Sunday and some happy memories made. 💙

Today has been a busy day i got a bit sunburnt 😳

What's the best thing you've ever picked up from a charity shop, car boot sale, Vinted, or marketplace?

I love finding quality items that get a second life instead of ending up in landfill. 🌍💚

This drill set is definitely my favourite find recently. Joey loves playing with it and it amuses him for ages.

❤️ Sustainable Sewing Project Tonight ❤️

This evening I've been busy at my sewing machine creating these reusable face cloths.

One thing I absolutely love about sewing is finding ways to give fabric a second life.
The patterned fabrics used in these face cloths have been rescued and repurposed, helping to keep perfectly usable materials out of landfill.
The towelling backing is brand new, making them soft, practical and ready for everyday use.

I've also added a handy hanging loop so they can be easily hung up between uses.

I'm passionate about reducing waste wherever I can, and it's so rewarding turning fabrics that might otherwise have been discarded into something useful again.

Every small step towards reusing and repurposing makes a difference, and projects like these are one of my favourite ways to do that.
