A little bit of realistic reseller life today… 😅

Not every day is exciting sales, parcels flying out the door and doing a happy dance over new listings 😂

Sometimes… you just want to scream at the selling platforms. 🤦‍♀️

I've currently got funds sitting in Vinted that I can't withdraw because of their technical issues, and it's been going on for a few days now.

And honestly? It's frustrating. 😩

Especially when you've put the work in, made the sales and then can't actually access your money when you need it.

Vinted seems to have been having quite a few technical issues lately, and it's definitely made me rethink where I'm putting my time and energy.

So for now, I'm going to be putting a lot more focus into eBay and building that side of Yesterday's Wardrobe back up. 💪

I'm not giving up on Vinted completely — but I'm definitely not putting all my eggs in one basket anymore!

It's easy to look at reselling online and think it's just find clothes → list → sell → money...

But there's actually a LOT that goes on behind the scenes. 😂

Some days you're motivated and smashing through listings.

Other days you're staring at a technical error thinking:

“FOR F**K'S SAKE.” 🤣

Today is definitely one of those days.

Anyway… rant over. 😂

🧹✨ September refresh for Yesterday’s Wardrobe!

Today I spent the day in the container having a HUUUUGE clear out of stock 😮‍💨😂

Bootsale season has officially come to an end for me for this year, so it was time to be ruthless!
Anything that didn’t sell, wasn’t worth listing on Vinted, or just wasn’t going to earn its keep has been donated ❤️
And when I say there was a LOT… I ended up with 7 SACKS of clothes ready to be donated! 😮😮😮

But… amongst all that sorting, I found some absolute gems that I’m keeping because I already have plans to UPcycle them ✂️♻️ 👀

So not everything is leaving Yesterday’s Wardrobe!
And this isn't even the end of the clear out 😂

I’ll be back in the container next week to tackle the rest of it because apparently I own enough clothes to stock an actual small department store 🤣

It feels SO good getting rid of the stuff that’s been sitting around and making space for the things that are actually worth my time ❤️

Out with the old, in with the new! ✨

Okay… I think I might be getting a little bit obsessed with making these! 😂❤️
I’ve now finished TWO handmade book sleeves and I’m honestly SO proud of them! 🥹

📚 One fun Harry Potter-inspired design⚡
🌿 One gorgeous botanical design

These are both made from fabric I already had, and I’m really enjoying turning fabric that might otherwise be forgotten into something completely new and useful.

I started learning to sew because I wanted to explore the handmade/upcycling side of Yesterday’s Wardrobe… and seeing things like this come together is making me VERY excited about where this could go! 🧵❤️

I’m still learning, but I think I can officially say…

Picked joey up from Preschool, he had a lovely day which is great to hear 😀 then went park before heading home 🏡

I had a productive day at Yesterday’s Wardrobe HQ. I had neglected my Ebay over the school holidays so today was an Ebay reset.

Scheduled my listings for next few days so I havent got to worry about it 👍

Now to have dinner and chill this evening 😌

Dropped Joey off at preschool this morning he was a bit sad so im hoping he will be ok. Im sure he will be fine and have a great day 😀

So while he is having fun im cracking on with listing and got my Autumn/winter stock out and there are some beautiful bits 🤩

Come across brands like Wallis, Zara, Champion,Lipsy, DKNY, Levis and loads more so definitely worth keeping an eye on my Vinted and Ebay.

What a weekend 😅

Sunday Bootsale ✅️

Its safe to say im knackered 😴 what a busy weekend.

Today was my last bootsale as a seller in not going to lie but the thought of not selling my alarm for 4:45am makes me happy 😆

For the rest of the bootsale season im going to be enjoying them as a buyer 🛍
