A day spent wandering around Gardens

Nature never fails to refill my creative cup.

From the colour palettes provided from the structure of the planting, I came away with pages of inspiration and a long list of flowers I’d love to paint!

Much of the work comes alive in my studio, but some of my best ideas happen when I step away from my desk and observe, being present in nature.

Now to see which of these colours, textures and blooms find their way into future paintings, wallpapers and murals! 🌸

A soulful day was had in a Sunday.

As a textile designer the vintage textile fair was a treasure trove of gorgeous vintage fabrics for inspiration and purchases!

These beautiful fabrics are all sources of inspiration to see how well crafted they were and how we can recreate that feel.

After that was a gorgeous afternoon with members of the to celebrate 1 year of the journey we have taken together. Celebrating with creativity, amazing food, tarot readings, all soulful things to fill up my cup with this wonderful community - more on that to come!

What a night ✨

It was such a privilege to attend the WOW!house opening gala and celebrate the incredible talent behind this year’s showcase.

Walking through each room, seeing the level of creativity, craftsmanship and detail that has gone into every scheme was so inspiring.

From interior designers and architects to lighting designers, artists, textile and wallcovering designers like myself, every space tells a story of collaboration.

A Proud moment to see Primavera, my wallpaper design for featured in beautiful Drawing Room.

Moments like these remind me why I love this industry so much. Beautiful interiors don’t happen by accident, they’re the result of passion, creativity and many talented people coming together to create something extraordinary.

Congratulations to everyone involved. What an achievement!

Highly worth a trip to see the incredible details within each room as a result of collaboration and hard work.

One small section of a much larger story

This hand-painted piece was created as part of a bespoke mural inspired by the landscapes of , designed to bring the feeling of nature and escapism indoors.

I love how murals allow you to completely transform a space into somewhere immersive, nostalgic and transportive.

I’m so pleased to be able to post this finished painting. And not because I’m really proud of the actual painting. I’m proud I finished it and here I am sharing it despite knowing it’s not perfect.

This painting started because I wanted to try oils… and then avoided them for weeks because I didn’t know the “right” way 🫠

I kept thinking I needed to watch more tutorials, learn more techniques, take more courses first.

But eventually I realised that if I waited until I felt fully ready, I’d probably never start.

So I just painted!

This piece slowly evolved over a couple of months, adding bits inspired by walks, colours I’d noticed and landscapes that stayed in my head. It’s not a real place, but more a mix of memory and imagination.

I think that’s what I’m searching for in my work at the moment, creating magical, immersive places that feel emotional rather than exact.

Still figuring it out, but learning that action over perfection every time

I attended Modern Muralists .england at the weekend.

The drive down there did not disappoint with such an inspiring discussion and insight into how these modern artists work.

Set in a beautiful location, that’s away from the hustle of London made the event feel really special and collaborative.
It was a chance to gain an understanding and appreciation of artists in the industry.

Thanks so much for organising a wonderful event, and to the artists that shared their journeys and passions.
