Before/after. Caught my favourite wool top on some brambles and it tore and laddered. Spent a very long time carefully picking up each stitch to mend the ladder, I’m sure I’ve seen tools that make this easier but can’t remember what they’re called, if anyone knows what I’m talking about please tell me so I can buy one! Then a simple woven darn over the remaining hole.

Time to get the woollens out (and pray that the moths haven’t been at them)

Machine darning some jeans today, it takes quite a long time and I’m not quite clever enough to make it invisible but any mending is better than throwing things away! (check out if you want to see the most incredible denim mending you’ve ever seen)
