The software was confusing at 1st, but once I sat down with the guys at Elite talker it was pretty straight forward, really helped me track my customers requests and orders, great on ads and the team are always available for my silly questions. Thank you!

It's always great to have some allergy awareness 👍
🔸️Whether you (as the parent) suffer from food allergens or not....Every baby is different

✅️At Baby Bites we think it's best to be proactive, and knowledgeable about the 14 major allergens *See picture

To be safe, we advise you...
✅️Introduce one food at a time, and in small amounts
✅️Wait a few days until you introduce another
🔸️Why?
✅️To spot any immediate, or delayed allergic reactions
✅️To help pin point the food that may have caused a reaction

*Always consult your GP or Health Visitor if you have any concerns, or if allergies run in the family

We all ask the question.. is my baby ready to start weaning?

🔸️When your little one is displaying these signs, they are developmentally ready to start solids

🔸️All babies are different but it is usually around 6 months old when introducing first tastes

🔸️It's important offer one food at a time just in case of allergies.

🔸️Start small - A few spoonfuls of smooth purée is plenty to begin with

🔸️Weaning is about letting your baby enjoy and explore new flavours, textures and colours. Introducing a variety of nutritious foods helps to promote a healthy relationship with food in the future

Who said pancakes? 🤤🥞

The Baby Bites Kitchen just whipped up some delicious banana pancakes.
Topped with orange chocolate spread, smooth peanut butter and sprinkles of chopped nuts

They went down a treat!

Check out our super easy recipe
🔸️Mash 1 banana in a bowl
🔸️Add 150g of self raising flour
🔸️Pour in 150ml of unsweetened oat milk
🔸️Add 1/2 tsp of baking powder
🔸️Add tbsp of chia seeds
🔸️Mix well
🔸️Heat tsp of oil, over a medium heat (coconut or extra virgin preferred)
🔸️Scoop into the pan two ladlefuls of mixture
🔸️Cook until bubbles start to show, approx 3-4mins
🔸️Show off your amazing flipping skills 😏
🔸️Cook other side for 3-4mins
(if you want them crisper, add about 1 minute or 2 on each side, until you get that classic pancake colour!)
🔸️Set aside the cooked ones & pop a teatowels over the top to keep them warm
🔸️Spread some chocolate & peanut heaven ontop. We used JimJams Vegan Dark Chocolate Orange & Whole Earth Smooth Peanut Butter
🔸️Bash up some mixed nuts in a pestle & mortar, then sprinkle on top to finish!
🔸️Roll it, cut it, eat them whole, we won't judge but just enjoy 😋

Banana is a great binding agent, so we don't need any eggs for this one, making this recipe...

*Please be aware that nuts are an allergen & can also be a choking hazard. Ensure nuts are crushed up into very fine consistency, for your little ones to eat.
