Been soooo enjoying my picture book courses recently. Hoping to one day be reading my girls a book I’ve written at bedtime. My daughter sometimes worries she doesn’t know what she wants to be when she grows up. I then point out I’m not sure I do! Making craft kits and stories are definitely two of them though!

I’ve finally finished it! I had a brilliant time with Star Glazers Cafe] ‘star squad’ the other month learning how to make something out of air dry clay. I wasn’t sure really what to go for but I just seem to find myself making or painting nerdy badgers! This seems to be my style... I’ve used some half term time with the kids today to do some pottery painting and finally added the colour. I’ll be honest, I’m really pleased! Thank you Star Glazers Cafe] for another fantastic session. Can’t wait for this months online session!

So excited to have the Tour of Britain come through our village today! My hubby is an avid cyclist so it was amazing to see the teams come by with fab support from the crowd. I quickly grabbed our fabric pens and some old pillow cases which kept the kids happy designing banners whilst waiting for the riders. Yay for ! 🚴🚴‍♂️🚴🏻‍♀️

We had a lush day on the beach Sunday and hubby took a sharpie to do silly faces on pebbles. I loved it as an easy alternative to rock painting. We then drew mermaids and princesses for our daughter to use in the sandcastle she built. The weather looks AMAZING this week so if you’re heading to the beach pop in a pen and see what you come up with. ☀️
