TW: Memorial story 🕊️ This was a very special and emotional project 🤍
These cold metal bronze casts were created from the original stone casts taken by the hospital of a beautiful little girl who sadly passed away shortly after birth. Her family wanted to preserve these precious memories in a way that would stand the test of time, so I carefully transformed the original casts into durable cold metal bronze pieces.
The original hospital casts are incredibly meaningful but can be fragile and vulnerable to damage over the years. By recreating them in cold metal bronze, these treasured keepsakes are protected and preserved while retaining every tiny detail of those precious little hands and feet.
It is a privilege to help families create lasting memorials to their loved ones. Alongside life casting and keepsake sculpture work, I can also create memorial cold metal casts from existing impressions, helping to safeguard irreplaceable memories for future generations.
