Exciting times ahead for us here at Wooly Maids 💚
Wooly Maids was established just after lockdown by sisters Sophia and Beth and their cousin Eleanor who were trying to develop different applications to reduce waste from their home-produced wool.
In October 2022 Sophia's daughters Izzy and Maisie joined forces and the idea for the Wooly Maids clothing brand was born.
The family's deep love of all things agricultural soon made them realise that the Wooly Maids stood for much more than just a small family enterprise. Passionate about trying to promote the much bigger picture of farming and the relentless struggles it faces on a daily basis.
Following their own, difficult journeys with mental health and a sudden family tragedy it was unanimously decided that the Wooly Maids wanted very much to do something to help raise awareness for mental health in agriculture. One night over a family dinner the Wooly Maids ‘Talking’s Good for Ewe’ campaign was born, and the rest as they say is history.
