This will affect local businesses & their customers!
We’re customers of many Cleator Moor businesses and the ease of parking on the Main Street (especially when you have three children 😂) is a massive bonus!

We need your help 🙏
Cumberland Council has proposed introducing DOUBLE YELLOW LINES (no waiting at any time) outside Copeland Fabric & Wool and The Crop Shop on High Street, Cleator Moor.
This will have a huge impact on our customers and community.
❗ What this means:
🚫 No stopping outside our shops
♿ Much harder access for disabled customers
👵 Difficult for elderly & less mobile people
🛍️ Less footfall → serious impact on local businesses
Many of our customers rely on being able to park close by, even if it’s just for a few minutes. Removing this access could mean some people simply can’t visit us at all.
💬 WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT
We are asking everyone in our community to have their say and help us protect access to our High Street.

Even a short message saying you oppose the loss of parking and support access for disabled and local customers will help.
