Living Beauty.
Last weekend, we watched the first chapter of a beautiful journey unfold at RHS Malvern, where Megan Dodd’s garden was awarded Silver.
We are so pleased to be able to sponsor Megan’s next garden at the inaugural RHS Badminton Flower Show — we’ve found ourselves thinking deeply about the connection between couture, gardens, craftsmanship and the natural world — and how closely they speak to one another.
Muted florals, faded silks, vintage Dior jewels catching the light like wildflowers in the evening sun. The structure of a beautifully cut McQueen cotton faille dress or Oscar de la Renta echoing shape and form and texture. The feathers of a hat inspired by petals and movement and nature. The softness of grasses and falling wisteria, drape of a vintage silk 30s dress, 30s down jacket, old Cotswold stone, birdsong….colour, fabric, texture, atmosphere. All of it deeply connected!
At Constantine Rex, we’ve always believed beauty should feel lived, collected over time, layered with memory and inspired by incredible craftsmanship.
Whether through a garden, a garment, or a treasured object, the pieces we surround ourselves with quietly and deeply shape how we feel in ourselves — and about ourselves.
“Living Beauty” feels like a very natural meeting point for those ideas — where natural beautiful style and craftsmanship exist side by side, without compromise.
More to follow as we continue what is at heart a very local Tetbury small business collaboration together ahead of RHS Badminton. For now we’d just like to introduce Megan and wish her well as she develops her next beautiful Cotswold creation. 🌿
