The fabrics in this book are made mainly by Silk. The uniqueness of the silk fibre combines the qualities of toughness, elasticity, resilience, warmth and coolness as well as an affinity to dye which show a richness and variety of colour and texture which cannot be reproduced in other fabrics. As a natural fibre there may be certain irregularities or variations in shade or weave and these are characteristics of silk. However silk does require special care and can easily mark even with water. Great care should be taken when cleaning and instructions followed closely.

These fabrics may be used for the following applications: Drapery, Curtains, Lampshades, Cushions, Wall coverings and soft Upholstery. Exposure to direct sunlight must be avoided to prevent colour loss.

DANIEL JAMES UK will be exhibiting at the Scottish Interiors Showcase on the Tuesday 18th and Wednesday 19th February 2014 at the Doubletree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro Hotel.

Opening times are 9am - 6pm on Tuesday the 18th and 9am to 5pm on Wednesday the 19th February.

DANIEL JAMES UK is delighted to announce, it will be exhibiting at the British Interior Textiles Association Annual Spring Showcase on the 9th and 10th of March 2014 at the Wyndham Grand Hotel at Chelsea Harbour, in London.

Opening times are 10am - 6pm on both days. Visitor pre-registration will be available very soon, it's FREE entry for trade customers.
