1. Colour — don’t blend in
Beige and pale blue are the default.
Your guests will wear those colours too.

2. Cloth more important than colour
It’s not about black vs beige.
It’s about what the suit is made from.

Lightweight wool breathes.
Polyester traps heat.

3. Ignore the “black is too hot” myth
A black wool suit will feel cooler
than a beige polyester one.

4. Waistcoat = essential
No jacket? No problem.
You still look like the groom not a guest.

5. Timing matters
July / August wedding?
You should be designing now.

Allow at least 4 months + extra travel time.

The White Tux Rules

The white tuxedo is the ultimate groom suit.

But only when it’s done properly.

The rules are simple:
1. Get the colour right
2. Get the cut right
3. Balance the black and white
4. Keep it restrained

A proper white tux is never bright white.
It’s ivory or soft cream.

Then it comes down to proportion —
jacket length, button position, balance.

And finally, styling.

Nothing loud.
Nothing forced.

That’s when the white tux signals quiet luxury.

Dave’s an ex Royal Marine.
And like a lot of lads who train… suits never fit properly.

Broad shoulders.
Powerful neck.
Proper quads.

So the usual thing happens.

To get the jacket over the shoulders → it’s massive on the waist.
To get trousers over the quads → the waist is huge.
Shirt fits the neck… the body looks like a dress.

Because most off-the-peg suits are designed for average builds, not men with strong shoulders and legs.
