A twist of fate ✨️
In astrology, if you have a rare aspect pattern called a 'Yod' in your chart, it is said you are here to fulfill a special mission in this lifetime, you might feel a strong sense of purpose and events over the course of your life will feel more predestined. Other words to describe this pattern are 'finger of fate' or 'the finger of god' where 3 (more if conjunct) planets form a isosceles triangle with the 'apex' planet being the planet that gives us clues as to what it is you're here to do.

Famous people with a yod in their chart include Princess Diana and Picasso.

Well, on the new moon in Cancer this Wednesday we have at least two Yods in that chart which is rare especially on a new moon. This is suggesting to me that it will be a trigger point, a new beginning where fate seems to step in somehow for a lot of us.

You might feel compelled to suddenly change the trajectory you were on or there will be a restlessness to complete something thats been niggling away at you for a long time.

Add a once a year Jupiter/sun conjunction to the mix this week bringing luck/ expansion somewhere in our chart especially if its aspecting any of your natal planets, and well... we have quite a week in the cosmos!

Mercury also moves into Leo this week until the beginning of September which can encourage us to be more confident and expressive however expect more ego driven, self centeredness and people voicing their opinion more than usual! In fact theres a whole lot of Mercury energy going on this week so things could get very very loud 🦁 roaaarrrr!

Might be a good week to shut out all the noise and find your calm 📣 ✌️

Over the next couple of weeks we'll see the good, the bad and the unpredictable!
The good - Jupiter moves into Cancer. Jupiter is very happy in Cancer ♋️ it's a very comfortable placement for the planet of abundance and is moving from Gemini where it's been for the last year and is not that comfortable being in (this is because Gemini is the sign of the mind so over thinking and being in your own head is a common manifestation of this transit) so this should be a very positive shift for a lot of us especially the water and earth signs ♋️♏️♓️♉️♍️ great for getting out of the head and into the heart ❤️
I expect there will generally be a lot coming up for us all things 'Cancerian' over the next 12 months, themes such as the home, domestic life and children. Also, see which life area Cancer rules for you personally because that life area is about to get some expansion and prosperity poured into it by this giant planet.

The bad - Jupiter square Saturn/Neptune. This aspect can bring limitations and restrictions where big plans/dreams are concerned, wings could feel like they're being clipped, it could feel like you're taking 1 step forward and 2 steps back, you could feel very critised for setting your sights too high and self esteem/confidence can take a knock. It could also mean anything already brewing could be blown up out of proportion. Boundaries or lack of boundaries could be a big theme coming up around this time (active now until about the 19th, exact on the 14th)

The ugly - Full moon in mutable fire sign Sagittarius with a Mars/Uranus square happening around the same time (the 11th) Not really ugly but unpredictable (doesn't have the same ring to it though!) Basically...expect the unexpected and have popcorn at the ready 🍿! I wouldn't advise taking any risks over this volatile full moon but it should be a good moon to have some electrifying fun! 💃

The good news is these challenging squares will have moved on by the Solstice though ♋️ 🙌 more on the last part of June later.

June is a real mixed bag of energy but the middle part is portentially rather hairy!

Well, the runaway train that is 2025 continues and May starts with a creative vibe as Venus/Neptune meet in Aries 🔥 great for starting and feeling passion for something new but this aspect can also lead to impulsive decisions around love and money especially. Mercury enters Ta**us on 10th, this placement often leads to a more deliberate approach to decision making and you may take your time to weigh options more carefully.

Pluto will start its 5 month retrograde in Aquarius, inviting us to reflect on power dynamics in our lives. Those with planets/angles at 1/2/3 ° of the fixed signs (Aquarius, Ta**us, Scorpio and leo) the last 18 months have been one heck of a transformational process for you and continues to be one for most of this year, you might feel compelled to step into your uniqueness more and express yourself with authenticity. There might be a general theme of friends leaving or forming a deeper connection in this time.
More grass roots movements are likely to emerge too giving more of a flavour of the new world that's emerging.

Then, if that wasn't enough...May has a full moon in the deeply emotional sign of Scorpio, this sign is linked to themes of power, passion, and transformation. You might find something thats been hidden for months is illuminated under the full moon (the 12th) as Mercury will be in a challenging aspect to Pluto (ruler of Scorpio) at the same time.

Then, we get a first taster of the transit of Saturn in Aries, which will take place from May 24th 2025 until early 2028, this will bring a significant period of change and development socially...more on this and the anticipated Saturn/Neptune conjunction later! It's biiiggg 😜

New moon solar eclipse in Aries and astrology for April

On March 29th, the solar eclipse graces us with its last ethereal presence in the fiery sign of Aries. Its been quite the two year journey for a lot of us ✨️ Now, Aries is known for its boldness, enthusiasm, and a dash of impulsiveness — think of it as the “go-getter” of the zodiac. This eclipse will be like the universe pressing the reset button on our ambitions and desires. Eclipses often bring about change — sometimes gentle, sometimes not-so-gentle — but they always encourage growth. So, dish out your biggest dreams on this day and watch as the stars align to help you manifest them. Just remember to steer clear of that urge to leap before you look and be careful what you wish for! this is a super powerful new moon and some crazy things have happened to me on a solar eclipse! however, they are perfect catalysts to ignite your passion and fuel your dreams.

April 2025 has great potential, that cardinal fire energy (plus Mars moves into Leo mid April) blended with the grounded resilient fixed earth energy of Ta**us is an unstoppable force and its the first month we'll get a flavour of the long anticipated Neptune in Aries transit, kickstarting a brand new 165 year cycle. The last time was from 1862 - 1875. I'm personally not sorry to see the back of Neptune in Pisces and look forward to the clarity of Neptune in Aries.

If you were hoping for a quieter April you may be a bit disappointed, maybe just expect the unexpected especially in the first and last week. It does look to calm down after the 8th though but then Mars/ Pluto are back in that tense opposition for the last time at the end of April, remember November and then again at beginning of January? This is intense, dramatic and transformative energy.

The New Moon in Aries encourages us to take risks and set intentions, the Full Moon in Libra invites us to cultivate harmony in our relationships. This is a month to align your inner desires with your external interactions, creating more fulfillment and balance.

Are you ready for March?! Because major shifts are about to take place with Mars direct and Venus and Mercury going retrograde plus the eclipse season and Neptune making its first dip into Aries, this is going to be one of the biggest months of 2025. They'll be sudden endings with accelerated new beginnings and there will be a major reevaluation of what and who belong in our lives. Connections can become more soulful and deep or realisations come to us as we won't be under any more illusions. Look out for those past relationships that will come back in to remind us just how much we've moved on (or not!)
Going back over financial goals and money in general will also be a major theme this month.

It could be an interesting period of time helping us to let go of where we've been subject to criticism and judgement including of ourselves and of self-reflection.

Any elephant in the room health issues could also be finally be addressed this month too.

Neptune moves into Aries for the first time right at the end of the month, what house area does Aries rule over for you? Because it's about to be transited by the imaginative and spiritual energy of the blue planet 💙 It will also be bringing dreams into action. This is long transit though, Neptune spends 14 years in a sign and is known as a generational planet.

But before any of that the new moon in Pisces on the 27th Feb will be square to the planet of abundance and expansion Jupiter, this could bring in a huge new chapter for us which could seem overwhelming at first especially those with planets between 9 and 12 degrees of the water signs (Cancer, Pisces and Scorpio) or mutable signs (Pisces, Gemini, Virgo and Sagittarius) it is also a major new moon for manifesting a dream into reality.

The Sun moves into Pisces today, ruled by Neptune and ruler of the 12th house in astrology...the house of dreams and the unseen. If you have a lot of planets residing in this house area, you're likely to be highly intuitive, prefer to keep things more private and are an ethereal soul.

This is a doozy of a full moon! Happening in the sign of generous, creative and loving Leo ♌️ 🦁

Expect (more!) drama and surprising turns of events plus passionate and powerful exchanges! This full moon is part of a fixed T- square with Uranus and Mercury and the resistance will be in full swing.

It may also make us confront uncomfortable truths 😳

Long term goals will come to fruition for some of us this week under the Mars trine Saturn 💙 🙌if that's you, be proud and allow yourself time to shine 🌟 🤩

Be bold and speak out about what matters to you, this full moon will give us an extra boost of confidence and will help us to release any self doubt but oh they'll be plenty of reactive and leading with the heart energy out there.
