🇬🇧🇺🇸 Below the French version

🇫🇷 Au mois de mai j’ai gagné le tirage au sort organisé par Petits D'om 🩵🩵. J’ai pu choisir un patron maillot de bain parmi ses nombreux patrons. Après beaucoup d’hésitations (choix cornélien oblige) avec les filles nous avons opté pour Tayrona.
Je viens de faire la version trikini, comme cela il sera top pour cet été mais peut aussi être porté pour les cours de natation.
Mes coutures ne sont pas parfaites, mais j’aime beaucoup le rendu. Ma puce l’a testé pour ses cours et c’est bon il n’a pas bougé! 😅.

🇬🇧🇺🇸 In May, I won the prize draw organized by Petits D'om 🩵🩵. I got to choose a swimsuit pattern from her great collection. After much deliberation (a tough choice indeed!), the girls and I opted for Tayrona. I made the trikini version, so it will be perfect for this summer but can also be worn for swimming lessons.
My seams aren't perfect, but I really like how it turned out. My little one tested it for her lessons, and it held up perfectly! 😅

🇬🇧🇺🇸 When you realise that your daughter had swimming lesson the next day and no swimming costume, oups…🤦🏻‍♀️. She wanted a simple one piece, which made my life easy to make it in one evening. 😅

🇬🇧🇺🇸 I recently discovered ATF. Custom print fabrics and their amazing collection of designs. Apparently there is no such thing as having too much fabrics 🙈 so I did a quick order as my daughter loved those coloured clouds and requested pyjamas. A quick and easy project. An happy daughter. 🥰

🇬🇧🇺🇸 For the past 2 months a small voice kept nagging me “Maman could you make me a long dress”, so I did it. It’s a bit long but she LOVES it!! Miss's eyes lit up when she saw it.
I oved the one made by De fil en aiguille which inspired me for the sleeves.

🇫🇷 Depuis deux mois, une petite voix me demandait sans cesse : « Maman, tu pourrais me faire une robe longue ? » Alors je l’ai faite. Elle est un peu longue, mais elle l’ADORE ! Miss avait des étoiles plein les yeux quand elle l'a découverte.
J’avais adoré la version de De fil en aiguille dont je me suis inspirée pour les manches.

🌜🩷🧸 Summer pyjamas 🧸🩷🌛

🇫🇷 Après la version anglaise

🇺🇸🇬🇧 Last week it was 4 degree C, I had to put the heating on and we were wearing trousers/long sleeves pyjamas. Then all of a sudden it’s 30 🥵. My daughter didn’t pyjamas for the holidays so I quickly sewed her some. “Quickly” being that I finished them at 2 am 😅. Then she didn’t want to take them because we didn’t do pictures, you can hear me usually: “we do pictures then you can wear your outfit 🤣”. This time I gave up on the picture, it was time to go!

🇫🇷 La semaine dernière, il faisait 4 degrés, j'ai dû allumer le chauffage et on était en pyjama chaud. Et puis, d'un coup hop il fait 30 degrés 🥵. Ma fille n'avait pas de pyjama pour les vacances, alors je lui en ai vite cousu un. « Vite » est viré sur puisque je l'ai fini à 2 heures du matin 😅. Ensuite, elle ne voulait pas le prendre parce qu'on ne prenait pas de photos. D'habitude, vous m'entendez dire : « On prend des photos et après tu pourras mettre ta tenue 🤣 ». Cette fois-ci, j'ai laissé tomber la photo, il était temps de partir !

🇬🇧🇺🇸 My first one loved her sister’s dress, especially the fabric as she doesn’t wear dresses 😅. I used all I had left to make her this T-shirt and shorts which are definitely more her style.
She looked in my HTVs and labels stashes and decided to personalise the top.

🇫🇷 Ma première a adoré la robe de sa sœur, enfin surtout le tissu puisqu’elle ne porte pas de robes 😅. J'ai utilisé le reste du tissu pour lui confectionner ce t-shirt et ce short, qui correspondent bien plus à son style.

Elle a fouillé dans mes stocks de flex et d'étiquettes et a décidé de personnaliser le t-shirt encore plus à son goût.

🇬🇧🇺🇸 Petite Stitchery created a swimming dress and I loved the idea. It’s a perfect outfit for the beach and water fights in the garden so I made one for my daughter. There are lost of options for colour blocks.
You should have a look on their website there are plenty of new swimming costume patterns.

🇬🇧🇺🇸 Today is Boo and Lu’s birthday, for the occasion new patterns are released. One of those is the crop top/dress Briar. My daughter fell in love with the faux corsage on the back.

🇫🇷 Aujourd'hui, c'est l'anniversaire de Boo et Lu, et pour l'occasion, de nouveaux patrons sont sortis. Parmi eux, la robe/crop top Briar. Ma fille a craqué pour le faux corsage dans le dos.
