Loved our first Craft Club workshop at Wolverhampton Art Gallery making keying charms! 🔑🌸💙

We’ll be back every Tuesday with more workshops! Next week we’ll be getting the fabric paints out, making our own fabric patches that can be used to upcycle garments 🎨🖌️

Meet the voices joining us for Rethinking Consumption: A Conversation Inspired by Andy Warhol, Art, Fashion & Innovation at Wolverhampton Art Gallery.

As part of Sustainable Fashion Week 2026 & Wolverhampton Business Week, Reinvntd is bringing together people working across sustainable fashion, textiles, education, craftsmanship and material innovation for a conversation about one big question:
How do we rethink our relationship with the things we buy, wear and discard?

We’ve kicked off the new school year with a bang! Taking our ‘Future Threads’, sustainable fashion and climate education programme, to two more schools. ✅

This morning we were at Colton Hills Community School, last week we visited Thomas Telford UTC and before the summer holidays we spoke to students at Ormiston SWB Academy. So many interesting questions from curious students! 🤔📚🎤♻️

Just 1 more school visit with our assembly presentation before the practical skills building and clothes upcycling workshops begin. 🪡🧵👚👖

And then it’s showtime at our public catwalk in the heart of Wolverhampton City Centre Mander Centre in October. It’s going to be a great few months 🤩

We’re bringing two hands-on creative workshops as part of the Wolverhampton Hub programme for Sustainable Fashion Week 2026.

It’s all about giving textiles a new life, learning creative skills and having some fun along the way. 🧵♻️👚🧸🩳

Whether you’re picking up a crochet hook or sewing something special for a much-loved teddy, these workshops are a chance to make, learn and rethink what we already have. 💚

As the Official Wolverhampton Hub for Sustainable Fashion Week 2026, Reinvntd is bringing a Sustainable Fashion & Makers Marketplace to the city and we’re looking for brilliant local and independent businesses to join us 🛍️

We’d love to hear from vendors offering:
♻️ Sustainable, vintage or preloved fashion
🪡 Upcycled and repurposed products

🌱 Eco-conscious, low-waste or ethically made products
🧵 Repair, alteration or other creative services

We want to create a space that celebrates independent businesses & makers, while encouraging more conscious consumption.

We’ll be carefully curating the marketplace to bring together a mix of businesses, products and services, so if what you do fits the bill, we’d love to hear from you! 💚

Last week we were back in the community in Wolverhampton doing what we love most! We hosted a ‘Patch - Print - Upcycle’ workshop and it was such a hit ✨

Thank you for having us Wolves Council & Love Your Community 🩵

It was lovely to see so many little hands getting involved with making their own fabric patches from scraps of material and fabric paints 🎨
