I have been working on our kitchen benches - they were plain wooden benches which I have painted and are upholstered with linen, hand dyed with indigo. It's so lovely to have them finished and we can enjoy sitting round the table, very comfortably!

As you can see, Brie helped choose the final Shibori design and Cheddar...well Cheddar seemed to be involved in every step!

In these photos you can see some of the process; covering the benches, test dyes with different Shibori designs and finishing the underside.
