‼️IMPORTANT‼️

We are leaving the Wrexham Butchers Market.

Skellytones has been in business for a little over 4 years, and the last 3 of those have been based in Wrexham town centre. As some of you know, 2 weeks after opening our first stall, my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer, and he passed away 4 weeks later. Since then, my life has taken more twists and turns than a corkscrew! And something has to change.

We want to say a heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you, because you have all given us so much support, loads of laughter, and we have made some truly great friends. 🩵

A big thank you to our fellow traders who welcomed both Correy and me, and for all the support and advice you’ve given us over the years.

However, this is not the end of Skellytones. We will continue to do pop-up markets, with our first being the Wrexham Alternative Market on the 3rd of October, so please make sure to pop along and check that out!

Our last day of trading in the Butchers Market will be FRIDAY 25th SEPTEMBER. We would love to see you all before then.

Dolly Parton was a punk icon 🖤 Always 100% herself, not letting anyone tell her how to dress, what to say or who to be. She fought the status quo in the most badass way possible - and never apologised for being different.

An outspoken ally for the animals, the environment and the LGBTQIA+ community. She lifted everyone up with her and her shining light will be so missed. Vale Dolly Parton 🖤

🗺️ Days spent creating our Discover Wrexham Independent Traders map
🤝 Countless hours chatting with and bringing together local businesses

And we’ve done every bit of it whilst running our own independent businesses too. ❤️

We haven’t done this for recognition. We’ve done it because we believe in Wrexham. We believe in our independent businesses, our high street, our makers, our traders and the incredible people behind them.

We want to show people that there IS so much to discover in Wrexham. 🏙️❤️

This event has been built with passion, determination and a whole lot of love for our city.

We are still reeling from Bloodstock! One of my personal favourite moments was seeing OVERPOWER , such sick thrash metal that you should absolutely check out, anyways here's a photo of me holding an Overpower sticker whilst watching Overpower! 😂🤘🏻

I am genuinely so excited for next year with bands like Pig Destroyer, Fulci, Kannonfieber, and ACID BATH going next year, just to name a few! So you'll definitely be seeing us next year! 💀🔥

We are back be it a bit bruised and broken but we had so much fun at Bloodstock Festival highlights for me were Biohazard PARTY CANNON (Official) and 200 STAB WOUNDS
