Well I am excited. It is good to see that Georgia’s Workshops are as popular as ever! (https://www.facebook.com/events/165339010801593/) She is going slightly stir crazy dealing with myself and two three month old boys. She is looking forward to returning to teaching, cake, lampshades and gossip. I was the third ever male that she has taught on one of these courses. I am tempted to see if I can get my (mostly male) colleagues on a course as ‘team bonding’ sometime! Please note. Bwave Bwue Bunny (Actually called Running Hare Blue Size C Standard Fitting) is my pride and joy, even if it did only score 8/10 as far as Georgia is concerned…

There are still places left and I highly recommend the course!

Georgia is certainly not being idle. Her new designs are coming along well, the website is almost finished and the cushions for my parents are on form – as are the blackout curtains that will finish our bedroom.

No news on the award yet – but watch this space.

Further pictures/updates to follow once all these have been completed!

Thank you all for the positive reaction to my first attempt at a blog… Here goes round two!

As promised, Lampshade workshops are now advertised again in Yorkshire for Jul/Aug time. I strongly recommend them. I managed to create a blue hare which Georgia even allows me to keep in the house! We have pics of the start of Georgia’s work in our room. There are currently bedside lamps (Lime Badger, Woodland) and pendant lamps (Cool Mesh Grey, Coordinates). I am delighted to report that the curtains came with the house and will be replaced shortly.
The website remains a work in progress as more issues are being identified, programmed out and fixed. Improvements should include an improved search feature – amongst other things.

I am delighted to report that Georgia has also been nominated for an award. I can’t say too much at this moment in time but needless to say that she is delighted! The boys remain on good form, as does Tilly. We are rediscovering sleep (although we have lost the ability to watch a film from start to finish) and long walks with a pram are definitely the way forward…

25 Aug - 1800hrs - 2030hrs
28 Aug - 1800hrs - 2030hrs
