Hey everyone 👋🏾🥰

Today is one of those days where I feel like I should introduce myself to everyone wondering who is behind this beautiful brand.

My name is Joanna, and I’m the founder of Kentell. Some of you know the story of Kentell others don’t so why not share it with a quick slideshow 🫶🏾

Slide 2. Is where we started from. Actually from zero but yes we once only had 189 followers.

Slide 3. Fun fact we started as an African clothing brand. And the Ohemaa dress was my first design, if not our only design and best seller.

Slide 4. Consistency was paying off, the community was growing, sales were low but I was very much believing in the vision I had.

Slide 5. I started working with influencers ( so grateful .keens ) and eventually after months…

Slide 6. Gorgeous girls were buying, supporting and bringing traction 🥹

Slide 7. I decided to invest in more branding because it was starting to make sense

Slide 8. Woke up one morning with a text from a past customer informing me that a big brand if not the biggest in the African clothing space, was advertising my same design as their own.

I reached out to them but they ignored me. Later on gaslighted me by saying it was their own creative inspiration.

Slide 9. I realised the battle was too big for me to fight on my own as a small business owner so decided to keep KENTELL and offer gorgeous waist beads instead

Slide 10. Everyone loved them 🥹🥹 I was getting a few sales and reviews that were pushing me to keep going
