🌍 A LEGACY BORN FROM PURPOSE. A MOVEMENT BORN FROM HOPE. 💙
Today, I am deeply honoured and humbled to officially launch DACHRIS FOUNDATION —a vision that has lived in my heart for years and has now become a legacy.
This foundation was birthed on my Silver Jubilee, as a reflection of a journey that began long before this moment. Over the past five years, I have engaged in mental health advocacy in my own little way, listening, learning, speaking up, and witnessing the realities faced by people navigating mental health challenges and stigma.
But beyond advocacy, this mission is deeply personal. My passion for mental health was shaped by personal experience, and that experience strengthened my conviction that no one should have to walk through mental health struggles feeling unseen, unheard, judged, or alone.
Today, that conviction has become a commitment.
💙 Our Vision: To be a leading global advocate for mental health—championing awareness, breaking stigma, protecting dignity, and creating a world where every individual, especially teenage mothers, is empowered to thrive.
Our work will focus on:

This is more than the launch of a foundation.

A movement to change conversations.
A movement to restore dignity.
A movement to amplify voices.
A movement to create hope where stigma has existed.
As we begin this journey, we invite mental health professionals, advocates, educators, policymakers, organizations, development partners, philanthropists, donors, institutions and individuals who believe in this cause to join us.
Together, we can build communities where seeking help is an act of courage—not a source of shame, and where every teenage mother is reminded that her circumstances do not define her future.
This is my legacy.
