What I Learned From Introduction to New Media

Taking the Introduction to New Media class has really opened my eyes. Before this class, I used the internet without thinking much about it. But now, I understand how powerful new media is and how it shapes our daily lives. In this blog, I want to share three new things I learned and explain how new media is used differently in today’s world.
1. New Media Helps Us Communicate Faster and Easier:
One important thing I learned is that new media makes communication very fast. With social media, emails, messaging apps, and blogs, we can share information within seconds. This has helped me personally because I now communicate better with classmates and lecturers, especially when we have online assignments or group work.
2. New Media Gives Everyone a Voice :
I also learned that new media allows ordinary people to share their ideas, opinions, and talents with the world. Anyone can post videos, write blogs, or share pictures. This has motivated me to express myself more and not be shy. I now know that my ideas can also help others.
3. New Media Makes Learning More Interactive
Another thing I learned is that new media makes learning easier and more enjoyable. Online videos, digital libraries, and educational apps help me understand topics better. This has improved the way I study and made me more confident as a student.
How These Things Show the Different Uses of New Media
