These images were taken at a ceramic cooperative in Belize, where we’ll be hosting part of our upcoming retreat.

There’s something about working with your hands that asks you to slow down, not just in the moment, but in the way you move through your life 🌿

One of our days there will be spent alongside the artisans who work in this space, connecting through process, repetition, and touch, with the material, with each other.

We’re excited to share a new Embroidery Workshop hosted at our studio in Finca La Azotea, in collaboration with

Taking place over Mother’s Day weekend, it’s a beautiful way to spend time together, or to gift to your mother, daughter, or a woman in your life.

This workshop is a chance to slow down, work with your hands, and spend time making in the studio.

Through the gentle rhythm of embroidery, you’ll stitch symbols, words, or imagery, transforming a thrifted shirt into a personal piece you can wear and keep forever.

✨ What began as an idea between friends slowly, and then very quickly, became something much bigger, bringing together creatives and business owners from across Guatemala.

Over two days at and .red.materia , we gathered for conversations, shared experiences, and honest dialogue about the realities of building creative work here.

We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who joined us, spoke on panels, asked thoughtful questions, and helped shape the conversations. It was a reminder of how much knowledge, generosity, and care exists within this creative community, and how important it is to continue building spaces rooted in collaboration rather than competition.

This was the first of what will become an annual gathering, and next year we’re hoping to make it even bigger.

✨ Only a few spaces remain for our upcoming workshops with textile artist

Join us this coming Monday 9 & Tuesday 10 at our studio for a woven bag and a small frame weaving workshop, two hands-on sessions exploring craft, material, and technique.

If you’re not able to attend (or even if you are), you can still purchase a support ticket to help a young artist from attend the workshop.

Acompáñanos este lunes 9 y martes 10 en nuestro estudio para dos sesiones prácticas: un taller de bolsa tejida y un taller de tejido en telar de marco pequeño. Dos encuentros para explorar el oficio, los materiales y la técnica de manera cercana y práctica.

This weekend is for artists, artisans, designers, and small business owners working within Guatemala’s creative ecosystem — for honest dialogue, shared learning, and real conversations about what it takes to build creative work here. Creative entrepreneurs from Guatemala-based brands and businesses will be sharing their experiences and wisdom on what it takes to truly build a successful business here.

Entry is Q75 per day, cash at the door.

The first - and only - experience of its kind! (And for one person only)✨5 nights of design-focussed panels, workshops, and rest.

It’s a beautiful serendipity when multiple creative projects and moments that you’ve been preparing for happen to coincide with one another. For two years, our founder has been building (CHECK TAG) which is set to launch so very soon. Simultaneously, we’ve also been planning Antigua’s first ever design symposium as well as two-part workshop experience with at the Luna Zorro studio!

And.. we’ve put together a specially designed trip for one person only to stay at La Valiente for five nights from Friday 6 to Wednesday 11 March, 2026.

Over the weekend (March 7–8), you’ll have full access to our Design Symposium:
Saturday at Luna Zorro’s Art Studio and Sunday at La Red Materia Studio: two days of conversation, creative exchange, and thoughtful dialogue within Antigua’s design community.

Then on Monday and Tuesday, you’ll join our in-person workshops hosted in collaboration with including a woven bag tutorial and a small frame weaving workshop.

Five nights. Full access. Deep immersion.

Today we’re beginning our Mexico City trip ✨ the second of its kind, and one we’re incredibly grateful for.

We’re opening the doors of the Luna Zorro Studio, for a small series of intimate, in-person workshops with New York–based artist

Across two days, we’ll gather for 2 different events:
• Woven Bag Workshop — focused on material, texture, and functional form
• Frame Loom Weaving Workshop — an introduction to loom weaving from start to finish

This workshop collaboration also plays into our partnership with where with your support, we’re opening spaces to their young aspiring artists to be able to attend the workshops too!

There are three ticket options available:
• Attend a workshop
• Attend and support a place for an aspiring artist from El Patojismo
• Purchase a donation ticket to fully cover a place for a young artist to attend
