True beauty is found in a woman’s strength. ❤
The often unspoken definition of a woman’s beauty appears to be on the cover of every magazine at the grocery stores’ checkout aisle - the flawless skin, sparkling eyes, and unrealistic body types.
I used to envy these women of strong physical attraction, yet I slowly came to the realisation that I don’t have to at all, for that the mainstream definition of beauty is just what the social norm / conformity adds upon us and should have no significance to how one should treat her own life.
Instead, what is truly inspiring is when a woman’s confronts challenges in great strength, even in the desperation of hopelessness. The pain will take time to heal, but the courage and confidence to confront it and ultimately rise up against it are priceless.
