Surrounded by stunning knit designs from all over the world, every physical piece whispers the warmth of handcrafting. I took my time, admiring each one slowly, stopping to marvel at the thoughtful color palettes and silhouettes, my mind racing with “I have to make this!” and “I must get that yarn!”

We’re always told to “cheer up,” but what if sadness deserves space too? So I crocheted this little guy with his droopy eyes and frown. He doesn’t look happy — but somehow, he makes me feel understood.

Sometimes you’re not okay. And that’s okay. This frog holds space for those quiet, heavy feelings. Crocheting him was like stitching my emotions into something soft and real.
