'Fourth of May' is the first release piece of Prototype WorldWide, with 'human irrationality' as its theme. The famous painting 'The Third of May 1808' on the back of the tee shirt was painted by Spanish painter Franciso Goya in 1814. The painting shows a scene in which Napoleon's French army brutally excecuting Spanish captives. The soldiers showed no remorse, killing empty-handed citizens and monks. The painting highlights the irrationality of the human species through warfare, carrying out cold-hearted acts in our lives. The shirt is named 'Fourth of May' to suggest that irrationality is a part of the human character, and that we cannot escape it. Even when it's Fourth of May, the same act will still happen, but maybe in different forms of irrational act. The painting on the shirt is accompanied by a quote from philosopher Giannis Delimitsos to emphasis that we cannot escape irrationality and it heavily influences our decisions in life.
