英國百年鞋履品牌 GEORGE COX 於 1949 推出世界首款厚底鞋（Creepers），其設計深受搖滾、龐克樂迷喜愛。憑精湛的工藝和細節，賦予每雙鞋履獨特、精緻又時尚的個性，近年更與多個日本潮流品牌合作，如 COMME des GARÇONS、SACAI 和 HUMAN MADE 等。被譽為「龐克搖滾教父」的 Malcolm McLaren 亦曾表示 GEORGE COX 出品的 Creepers 是對他影響深遠的設計之一，可見品牌對 Punk Rock 文化的影響力。

出於對 Punk 文化和 The S*x Pistols 的喜愛，UNDERCOVER 於 2011年初次發佈與 GEORGE COX 的聯乘鞋款，自此便一直合作無間。今年早秋系列更融入藝術家 Cindy Sherman 的經典影像作品，將其印製於紳士皮鞋上，風格大膽玩味之餘，亦保持 GEORGE COX 一貫輕巧舒適的穿感，為整個系列的視覺敘事畫上完美句點！

UNDERCOVER X 𝘾𝙄𝙉𝘿𝙔 𝙎𝙃𝙀𝙍𝙈𝘼𝙉：矛盾與叛逆的雙生美學

UNDERCOVER 2020 春夏「I HOLD A BEAST, AN ANGEL AND A MADMAN IN ME」系列將西裝裁縫融入日常服飾，並以黑白印花演繹美國傳奇藝術家 Cindy Sherman 的肖像作品。今季男裝早秋系列向這系列致敬，重新演繹這位傳奇藝術家的經典作，將 UNDERCOVER 叛逆前衛的藝術靈魂，完美注入當代男裝輪廓之中。

回顧兩人的首次合作—— 2018 春夏系列「JANUS - the two faced god -」，高橋盾以 Cindy Sherman 的肖象攝影為靈感，探討「矛盾與統一」的概念。當時模特兒更以「雙生兒」的型態走台，透過正反兩穿與對比色調，演繹人性雙重面貌。

這系列集結了藝術家最具代表性的《Untitled Film Stills》以及她為 COMME des GARÇONS 拍攝的廣告照。看似電影女星的劇照、暗黑怪誕的廣告畫面，融合現代感的剪裁與細節，既前衛又極具優雅感。

Cindy Sherman 的作品向來蘊含對主流審美與物化女性意識的嘲諷；其超現實、怪誕造型更是對「真實與虛假」的深刻反思，就如高橋盾所言：「她的生活普通，但沉浸於創作的她是完全不同的人。」這種強烈的反差與叛逆，正是 UNDERCOVER 設計的中最核心的 DNA。
