Prepped yesterday to start making a Dior brim with this beautiful blush buntal mat today. The kids have ‘used’ my pin cushion hence my straw needles in the pj bag! Now I know how Mum felt when we’d get into her sewing stuff and use the good fabric scissors 🤭

One tip I’ve learnt through millinery is keeping trying the design on. I’ve tried these shorts on several times this morning during various stages and I’ve decided they are definitely too big. Better than too small! Unpicking at tennis lessons tomorrow me thinks.

Back to being creative again. The whole process was bliss. 🌈From selecting the pattern shopping for fabric (🥰) and sitting down to the sewing machine/overlocker (borrowed from the super sister ) Fun times. Next pattern will be a face mask me thinks.
