We’re packing up the studio and heading to the Balaton. 🌊 This week our Budapest showroom will be closed while we’re at the Paloznaki Jazzpiknik ,6–8 August, in Paloznak. Join us every evening for our fashion show and TOMCSANYI pop-up—and we’ve packed a little surprise, too. Our brand new beach towel collection will be available for the very first time. Celebrating ten years of Scout.

The ‘Scout’ print first appeared in 2016, inspired by a small personal story.
When I was at school, many of my friends were scouts. I wanted to join too, but never officially did. Still, I spent time in scout camps, surrounded by maps, trail markers and the simple visual language of the outdoors.
Those memories stayed with me.
The print was painted with broad, expressive brushstrokes, capturing the playful spirit of those symbols rather than reproducing them literally.
It’s hard to believe ten years have passed. What surprises me even more is that Scout is still welcomed with the same enthusiasm as when it first appeared. Seeing a print connect with people across a decade is something I never expected, and I’m incredibly grateful for it.
This year, Scout returns on soft, matte viscose.

Good things take a little longer. Ours usually take 2–3 weeks.

We know waiting isn’t exactly what the internet has trained us for. But we simply don’t have a warehouse full of dresses waiting around.
Every TOMCSANYI piece is made after you order it in our Budapest atelier. We print, cut, sew and finish each garment in small batches, avoiding unnecessary waste and overproduction.
We’re always doing our best to speed things up, but some things simply can’t (and shouldn’t) be rushed.
Could we have everything made in advance in a factory? Sure. We’d just rather make clothes that already have someone waiting for them.

Need something sooner? Our showroom always has a limited selection of current favourites and best-selling prints ready to take home.
