WHAT IS KAMALA TRANZIT?

For years, many of you have followed Kamala through collections, travels, stories and sunsets around the world.

And somewhere along the way, we realized something:

Kamala was never really about just clothing…

It was about a way of living.

A little slower.
A little freer.
A little more connected.

To ourselves.

Kamala Tranzit is the next chapter of that story.

The year when everything began.
The year when Bali, India, tradition, textiles, movement, poetry, light, femininity and freedom came together…
and Kamala Kaftan was born.

It was the year of firsts.
First solo travels.
First time landing in India alone.
First chai with tailors in tiny workshops.
First fabrics chosen by touch, not by trend.
First collection created by hand.
First photo shootings.
First women wearing Kamala and telling stories through cloth and movement.

Back then we spoke through quotes, through Rumi, through sunsets, through fire, through fabric, through dance.
We dreamed about traditional dressing reimagined for the modern woman — a woman who travels, who explores, who feels, who changes, who dares.
A woman guided by women power, softness, simplicity and curiosity.

“Happiness is not something ready made.”
“All you need is love, music, movement and Kamala Kaftan.”
“Be the change.”

What we didn’t know then is that this project would become an inspiring journey that still, even now, feels like only the beginning of a beautiful story.
Still unfolding, still expanding, still full of discovery, unity, learning and magic.

From Indian artisans to Balinese blessings, from ancient silhouettes to modern women — we continue.
Rooted in tradition, shaped by travel, guided by simplicity, created with love.

2026 — we are still here.
