Picture yourself as a 3rd grader and you went to picnic with your family. There were a pond in the middle of the park with some koi fish and stones were placed on the verge of the pond. You wanted to play at the edge of the pond to see the fish with your brother(s) and sister(s).
It was five minutes of delights enjoying the pond with your sibling(s) when suddenly you hear your parent said, 'Don't get to the edge of the pond, you'll fall in to the pool!'
Have you ever had this kind of experience as you were a kid? How does that makes you feel as a kid? Do you think that it affects your thinking now when you're an adult (possibly a parent) yourself?
According to some, it made them scared of the world and kept thinking that they will get into a trouble no matter what they do. They also feel like the world is menacing and will never make them feel safe when they're alone.
What about you? Let's talk about it in the comment section down below!
