Every collection leaves behind fabric offcuts that is just too beautiful to waste. So we started exploring ways to give them a second life.

This sarong is part of that journey — an upcycled piece we’re still refining.

What’s the difference between Batik Tjap and printed fabric?

Batik tjap is created using a hand-held copper stamp and hot wax.
Each motif is pressed manually, layer by layer, in a process that requires time, rhythm, and precision.

Printed fabric, on the other hand, is produced by applying ink directly onto the surface using modern printing technology.

They are made differently, they feel different, they serve different purposes.

One carries the character of a handcrafted process.
One offers consistency and efficiency through technology.

Neither is about being better than the other.
It simply comes down to what you need — and what story you want your fabric to tell.
