Did this staircse today. It has oak treads and poplar risers. I love the volute (monkeys tail) on the lower flight. It really sets it off.

Did these Eco joists a few weeks back and what can i say? They have a huge span, they are structurally superior to 9x2 joists, the webbing allows all your plumbing and electrical services to be fitted without drilling or weakening the joist and can be fitted in half the time. We joisted out 20 houses in just over 2 weeks. Its one of the few advancements in carpentry that betters traditional methods. Happy days

I did this staircase a few weeks back. Its nice to see traditional joinery coming back onto the sites. A beautiful cut string staircase with an easing on the handrail. Well chuffed.
